John Cena is making a name for himself in Hollywood. He’s appeared in hit movies and hosted some major award shows as of late including the ESPYs. None of which has lessened his commitment to performing at the highest level possible in his WWE showdowns. The “You can’t see me” star proved all his doubters wrong once again with one of the best matches seen in a WWE ring this year. Cena took it to ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles, even delivering his patented ‘Attitude Adjustment’ from the top rope, but ultimately failed to pick up the 3 count. The dogged determination of AJ Styles would pay off, giving the relative new comer the biggest victory of his career. When Sasha Banks dethroned Charlotte, winning the Women’s title in a thrilling match on RAW several weeks ago, it only served to set up what would become an even more competitive rematch.Both women put their bodies on the line in a fiercely fought contest that would see a heart stopping reversal after Charlotte attempted a ‘Razor’s Edge’ from the top turnbuckle. Despite the best efforts of ‘The Boss’, Charlotte would pick up the win and become the two-time reigning champ in the process.

Many people are questioning whether there is anyone out there to topple Brock Lesnar. He ended the Undertaker’s streak. He even returned to UFC and picked up a win there. Could a rested Randy Orton finally stop this runaway train?In the weeks leading up the match, this one became personal. An angry Brock, who sought to not merely beat Orton, but hurt him in the process, would replace the pre-show exchange of words with serious action. Lesnar pummeled his opponent until the referee stopped the match. Randy Orton would need ten staples to the head backstage after the beatdown. After several months on the sidelines due to a severe neck injury, Nikki is back and ready for action.In a surprise return during a 6 female tag match, the Bella twin would rack up the victory for her team, putting the other women of WWE on notice that she is back in the title hunt. When WWE separated it’s wrestlers into RAW or SmackDown grapplers recently, it became clear that with Dean Ambrose holding the WWE Championship for SmackDown, a new title would be needed for RAW. Seth Rollins, the veteran and former champ, would face off against Fin Bálor, an international star in his own right, but new to WWE audiences.Complete with demonic face paint, the high-flying Irishman, who has held World titles all over the world, would become the new WWE Universal Champion, ushering a new era in sports entertainment.

In recent weeks, the friendship between the ‘Lass Kicker’, and the ‘Queen of Heart’s’ has gone out the window. A frustrated Natalya would pick a fight with the fiery red head on numerous occasions leading up to this SummerSlam tag match.With bad intentions, Becky would finally get her hands on her nemesis. It turned out bittersweet because her team would lose thanks to a retuning Nikki Bella. We expect the feud between Lynch and Natalya to rage on in the coming months.

Years of frustrations and stalled progress certainly fired up the challenger heading into his match with ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose.Just one problem – Ambrose was fired up too. He took it to the challenger and cemented himself as a force to be reckoned with. Dean’s unorthodox style makes for a difficult opponent to scout, and he could be wearing the title for quite a while to come.
