Many e-bikes we’ve tested in the past from brands have felt rickety unstable. (Sorry, Swagtron and Ride Scoozy.) Or they were so tiny looking that it made us feel as though we were riding a bike built for elves instead of grownups. The pros were the weight: between 40-50 pounds.
So when a larger, more powerful, cooler looking bike comes around that’s comfy to cruise and filled with plenty of solid options — 24-inch wheels, 350-watt motor, metal basket, LCD screen — we expected it to weigh as much as a tank. Nope. The Buzz E-Bike tips the scales at 57 pounds and we managed to get it moving at a top speed of mph. However, other riders (who clearly have stronger quads that we do) claim to have hit 18 mph. Point is, this thing can move. And it’s a great investment if you’re looking for a quality bike that’ll allow you to get from A to B quickly while knocking out some cardio.

We tested the Unlimited X Loaded Board in an NYC suburb, which allowed us to run errands that would normally call on us to hoof it. As much as we loathen running, we hate walking even more. So we hopped on the e-board and … it took us a second to get used to it. We’ll call us user error since we chose pro mode over eco or snail (you can choose from those three riding options).
The board is sturdy, easy links to an app, and has a handheld remote that makes it a breeze to control the speed or apply the brake. What’s more, it weighs 4.4 pounds and supplies the power to cruise at speeds up to 23 mph and travel up to 7 miles per charge.

Boba Fett, the helmet-wearing bounty hunter from the OG Star Wars trilogy, only got five or so minutes of screen time. Sill, nerds like us are obsessed with the dude (and we’re holding out hope his dinged-up Beskar armor makes a cameo in The Mandalorian series on Disney+). So, if you’re a Boba Fett fanboy, this movie-accurate helmet is a good item to pick up to spruce up your home office or gym. You can even use it as a helmet/visor combo over your mask to protect yourself from Covid-19 (just kidding — please don’t try this, young Jedi).
Anyway, the helmet features a comfy padded interior, adjustable fit, and a flip-down LED light targeting system if you strap it on while you train.

Apple Watch 6 builds on the useful functions that fit-minded stats nerds love to track: steps, sleep, movement, sleep cycles, heart rate, sinus rhythm, blood oxygen levels, etc. The new Series 6 even tells you how ready your body is to tackle the next tough workout.
How accurate are these stats? That depends on which expert you ask or listen to, but it’s likely best to think of them as a gauge rather than gospel. However, it does do something incredibly well: tell time.

Let’s get this out of the way: This lightweight vacuum really sucks, which is precisely what makes it the perfect addition to stash in your garage or home gym. Use it to suck up dirt, dust, pet hair, and the dried tears you left behind after your last Tabata. It holds up to three times more than most stick vacs and its antimicrobial brush roll prevents the vacuum from stinking.

If you cheap out on your mattress, sheets, and pillows, don’t be shocked if you wake up sore, angry,or soaked in sweat. A critical piece to the sleep puzzle is what you put your head on each night. We owe a big thank you to the eggheads who created the Sofi Sleep Delux Pillow; it’s made with breathable mesh and gel-infused memory foam that supports your nogging while doing all the work to keep you cool and snug without any flipping or fluffing.

If you’ve strapped your kid into a rickety stroller for a walk you’ve also likely hit a snag in concrete or rolled over a pothole and watched your little bundle of joy experience some baby whiplash.
Jeep’s jogging stroller eliminates that and provides a smooth ride with its swivel front wheel and back-wheel suspension, regardless if you’re taking a casual stroll or getting some cardio in. There’s a canopy with a peephole so your little one can get shade and you can keep your eyes on ‘em if needed.

Just because we’re all going to be stuck indoors for the winter avoiding COVID-19 doesn’t mean we have to let our health suffer. An easy way to keep tabs on what your body needs is to sign up for Vessel, an at-home testing method that uses your smartphone and some pee strips. The Vessel folks teamed up with experts at Mount Sinai Health System to run a third-party verification study to confirm the results of their tests. So you pee on the strip and two minutes later know whether you’re deficient in things like vitamins or electrolytes, or whether you’re properly hydrated.

We asked a black belt who trains in kung fu and regularly spars and whoops on people to test out these gloves. His take: “They fit great. Snug around the wrist for support. I am used to using Century 10-ounce gloves and I like the extra weight. They feel well made. Good quality material.”
Available in Darth Vader (black), R2D2 (pictured), Stormtrooper (white & black), and Rebels (white, red, and yellow).
