Being both a college student and fitness professional as well, I have had my share of critical dietary choices. Always being on the go and constantly needing sustenance is a problem for the health-minded college student. So using my acquired knowledge and first-hand experience, I will give struggling college students some dietary tips to use in the dining hall, as well as out and about with their friends.SEE ALSO: The College Muscle Gym Workout>>>

Realize that wherever you are, you’re not going to always have access to the best quality foods. But despite this disadvantage, you can ALWAYS choose a better option than what you would initially have chosen.SEE ALSO: 6 Sex Boosting Foods>>>

When in doubt, always get fruit. Dining halls everywhere are loaded with fitness and physique “debunkers,” but fruit will always be fruit.SEE ALSO: Best Fruit for Bodybuilding>>>

Sleepy college students swear by coffee and sugary tea, but water is as healthy as it gets. It’s free and it won’t tarnish your physique in any way.SEE ALSO: How Much Water Do You Need?>>>

Stay away from or drastically reduce alcohol consumption. This is very hard when living the college lifestyle believe me, but alcohol and beer are simply empty calories. Last but not least, know that your metabolic rate is at its peak during your late teens and early twenties. Eating junk food and overconsumption of alcohol can cause permanent damage to your metabolism. By simply drinking water and making healthier food choices, achieving your dream college body is that much more attainable.
